Print-friendly version The Italian Garden was restored in the early 1990's, when the original Dutch Garden located here, was changed into the Italian Garden.  The hedging is created from over 850 Common Yews, with Sky Rocket Junipers and Irish Yews giving more structure and height.  The statuary located here, and the beautiful Dolphin Fountain in the centre of the Garden were brought here by Charles Boot, many pieces came originally from Clumber Park.

The entire Italian Garden was regravelled in 2011, requiring over 60tons of local gravel to complete the project.
One of the statues has been nicknamed 'Flora' and is now used as part of the branding for the Thornbridge Brewery.
