“I have created a slideshow of images of some of the amazing weddings I have captured at Thornbridge Hall in the past few years.
I won’t deny that it is, without question my favourite wedding venue to date that I have been fortunate to work at.
There is something incredibly special about Thornbridge Hall. Not only is it breath taking, full of character and ambience, it also works perfectly at any time of the year and in any weather conditions. I have captured a wedding during a named storm and on one of the hottest days of the year, but it wasn’t an issue for this most majestic of locations.
It holds some exquisite interiors and the grounds are without question some of the best in the country. There are so many beautiful locations that make the perfect backdrop for any wedding photography including the Italian Garden, Scented Terrace, Water Garden, Koi Pond and Kitchen Garden.
It’s hard to believe the hall was briefly used as a teacher training college by Sheffield City Council, before it was purchased and is now privately owned and used as a family home and event centre.
The Hall is also the home of the award winning Thornbridge Brewery and in 2017 it became a RHS partner garden and during certain times of the year the beautiful grounds are opened to the public.
