The Great Hall

William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones stained-glass windows and ornately carved balustrades overlook the spectacular Great Hall. The centerpiece of the hall is the huge fireplace where ceremonies usually take place - guests can be both seated and stand on the balcony.

The Great Hall can also be used for drinks receptions.

The Music Room

Licensed for civil ceremonies, the ornate The Music Room has been lovingly restored to an earlier version of itself using photographs found at the Hall. Drinks receptions can also be held in The Music Room.

The Underground Bar

In the cellars underneath The Carriage House, we have a secret underground bar where you can have your own nightclub for the evening and continue the party into the night!

The India Suite

A suite of rooms will be made available for those having a ceremony at the Hall. The bride and her party can arrive in plenty of time and enjoy the relaxed surroundings as you get ready for the big day together.

We do not have overnight accommodation but can provide you with further information on the nearest hotels and B&B's, of which there are many here in the Peak District!
