Stallholder Terms & Conditions of Booking
Thank you for applying with Thornbridge Estate. By applying and standing at any event you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:
Payments are due in full on receipt of invoice to secure your booking. Once payment is received, you will be added to our published list at our nearest convenience
Cancellation Policy
In the event of you cancelling your pitch:
A full refund can be issued up to 8 weeks before the event
A partial refund can be issued up to 6 weeks before the event
No refund can be issued up to 3 weeks before
Health & Safety Policy
Stallholders need to be mindful of Health and Safety. Stallholders are asked to clear away all boxes, bags etc before the event opens, ensuring public walkways are clear. We will not be held responsible for any accident caused by stallholders’ negligence. All relevant health and safety, food, and environment regulations during the installation and dismantling of your stand, as well as the activities for the duration of the event.
Public Liability Insurance
All stallholders must hold Public Liability Insurance with a minimum cover of £1 million. It is the sole responsibility of each trade stand, exhibitor, contractor or entertainer to arrange adequate insurance cover for all equipment and personnel attending the event. All exhibitors must have a copy of their own public liability insurance with them at the event.
Stall Location
The location of stalls will be determined by Thornbridge Estate whose decision is final. Every endeavour will be made to meet the general wishes of stallholders with regard to position, without causing unfairness to others. Thornbridge Estate reserve the right to move the position of a stallholder's stand without prior notice.
We do not guarantee exclusivity to any stallholder. Stallholders are solely responsible for their stall and all goods & services they supply. Thornbridge Estate reserve the right to ask exhibitors to remove any goods considered unsuitable
Power
Power supply is only provided to stalls if booked prior to the event. It is the stallholder’s responsibility to ensure they have completed the relevant section on the booking form. Electrical equipment must be PAT tested. Thornbridge Estate will not be held responsible for any loss of power.
Bad Weather Policy
In the event of bad weather, we will let you know if we are cancelling the event via email by 7pm the previous day and a refund for the day (or number of days) we cancel will be issued automatically within 14 days. We will monitor the weather over the course of the weekend and the week leading up to. No refund can be issued if you cancel but the event still goes ahead.
All gazebos must be secured and weighted down. Stalls without weights may be turned away. We cannot provide weights. We will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever resulting from adverse weather conditions
Behaviour & Conduct
We reserve the right to remove any person exhibiting lewd, violent or offensive behaviour from the event without refund.
Rubbish
During the event stallholders must ensure any waste, packaging, etc. is removed from the stall area and does not create trip, slip or fall hazard. Stallholders are responsible for leaving their site and surrounding area clean, free from rubbish and undamaged. Stallholders are required to dispose of their own rubbish, Thornbridge Estate accept no responsibility for stallholder’s rubbish.
