Our Gardens
Thornbridge Hall is surrounded by 12 acres of quintessentially English gardens, set in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Designed at the end of the 19th Century to create a vision of '1,000 shades of green' which the owner wanted to be able to see from his bedroom window.
The gardens are a perfect example of Victorian drive, determination and engineering to manipulate the landscape into a series of garden rooms.

Weddings
We are delighted that you are considering Thornbridge Hall as the perfect venue for your special day. Thornbridge Hall is a private stately home. It is a unique venue, available on an exclusive use basis for you to create your own bespoke wedding.
The Hall
Thornbridge Hall is a large English country house situated in Ashford in the Water near the village of Great Longstone in the local government district of Derbyshire Dales, Derbyshire. It is a Grade II listed building.

The Brewery
Thornbridge Brewery is multi-award winning independent craft brewery that is known across the world. It's first branded beers were brewed in early 2005 after the establishment of a 10 barrel brewery in the grounds of Thornbridge Hall.
A new, state of the art, brewery and bottling line was opened at Bakewell in September 2009 to meet with demand and increase the range of beers.
The Heart Of
The Peak District
Peak District National Park is in central England. Steep limestone valleys like Dovedale, with its famed stepping stones, and Lathkill Dale characterise the park’s southern area, which is known as White Peak. North, the Dark Peak area has dramatic gritstone ridges and stark moorland plateaus like Kinder Scout, the park’s highest point. The nearby village of Edale marks one end of the iconic Pennine Way footpath.
