A celebration of local independent producers, join us for a weekend of delicious treats and indulgences! Taking place in the Carriage House and courtyard, there will be 20 stalls offering a large range of food and drink to buy from the Peak District and surrounding areas.
Thornbridge Brewery bar will be slinging fresh pints all weekend and if wine or gin is more your thing, tasting sessions with Locksley Distilling Co and Hattersley Wines can be booked in advance (see below). Incorporate a house tour into your visit on Friday and you can enjoy a Thornbridge Beer tastings in the house bar at the end! We are also excited to announce that we will be launching our new Thornbridge Estate Gin in partnership with Locksley Distilling Co.
Eat-in or takeaway
The Thornbridge Kitchen will be serving up dirty fries from the Carriage House (menu) as well as a selection of homemade goodies to take away (price list). You might want to add a Lord Marples Sticky Toffee Pudding and a jar of Jaipur Wholegrain Mustard to your shopping list! The Carriage House Bar will also be serving a selection of hot and cold drinks as well as wine, spirits, and draught beer.
Thornbridge Smallholding will be serving bacon and sausage butties all weekend and have a hog roasting for hot pork sandwiches on Saturday.
Seating areas will be situated by the Carriage House Bar and outside in the courtyard and on the terrace overlooking the kitchen garden.
Quackers Cafe will be open as usual.
Dogs are welcome on leads in the gardens and inside the Carriage House where the food market is being held. Access to the formal gardens is free all weekend.
How to find the Carriage House
From Quackers Cafe: As you pass through the cafe you will see signs directing you to the Carriage House. Walk out of the cafe and turn right, through the garden centre and The Emporium, into the gardens. Turn right down the path towards the house and pass the glasshouses (on your right). Go through the iron gate and turn left where you will find the Carriage House.
From the Events car park: After you have parked your car, walk through the first entrance and through the pillars with urns on the top and turn a sharp right towards the house. Walk towards the Carriage House (with the house on your right). Pass through the pillars with the lions and in a few hundred feet you will have reached the Carriage House.
Wheelchair and disabled access are via the Events entrance and car park. Please get in touch if you require any assistance.
