Join Chesterfield-based printmaker and artist Dave Elsom at Thornbridge Hall for a lively, creative stone painting workshop designed especially for children!
In this fun 1–1.5 hour session, young artists can let their imaginations run wild as they decorate stones, using colourful paint pens and sharpies. From playful patterns to quirky characters, there’s no limit to what they can create.
Every child will leave with their own handmade artworks to take home—perfect as keepsakes or gifts. All materials and equipment are provided, so they can jump straight into the fun. We will be using paint pens and sharpies, which can stain, so we recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting a little colourful—best to save your favourite outfits for another day! No experience is needed at all. This is a relaxed, welcoming workshop full of encouragement, ideas, and hands-on support to help every child create something they’re proud of.
